With a carbon T700 front triangle paired with an alloy rear triangle built on a Horst-link suspension platform, the Escarpe 29 CR balances pedaling efficiency with downhill capability. Special attention has been paid to eliminating pedal bob on the climbs, and short 440mm chainstays paired with a smartly designed suspension kinematic make the Escarpe 29 feel flickable and spry on descents.
Balance is the driving idea behind the Escarpe 29 — it’s a trail bike that harnesses balanced geometry and a primo component package to be capable just about anywhere you’d want to take it. The 29-inch wheel setup and 150mm/140mm suspension platform emphasizes traction and is smooth like butter on demanding trails. It’s a bike that’ll meet your limits and help push you beyond.
An adjustable flip chip allows you to raise or lower the bottom bracket by 6mm and increase or decrease the head angle, giving you the power to customize the setup to best suit how and where you ride. Rounding out the Escarpe 29 CR is a Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain and powerful Shimano MT420 or Sram DB8 4-piston hydraulic brakes.
